VEEAM deployment kit

Post by chaos »

Hi everyone, we are planing a greenfield deployment of veeam v13 in a service provider environment (different AD domains/forests/ customers hosted by us in our Datacenter).
After digging deeper and the deprecation of NTLM - what are the caveats of using the VEEAM deployment kit?
It sounds more secure due the certificate based approach and would solve the hassle of guaranteeing line of sight for Kerberos.
Any things I’m missing or caveats I’ll stumble upon?

Hi chaos,

Deployment kits sound pretty much exactly what you're looking for in this case.

The immediate caveat I can think of is you need to mass-deploy the kits by some mechanism but I'm assuming you have a mass-management solution of some sort for such deployments, so probably not much of an issue.

Thanks, that should resolve "some" hassle :)
