VEEAM B&R 6.1 and VEEAM Backup Free

Hello,

i have licenses for Backup and Replication. I have also some hyper-v server without a license for veeam b&r.
on this server are no critical guests. I want to backup this guests only manually.
Can i use the backup and replication console on my veeam server (after updateing to 6.1) to start backup jobs on this hyper-v server without a license? Is this functionality implemented in version 6.1? Or have i to install the free product?
Can i install both (the full version and free version) on the same server?

Hello Marc,

Yes, you will be able to VeeamZIP your VMs from unlicensed Hyper-V hosts within the same backup console.
