I'd like your help in determining if it's possible to restore dynamic disks to basic disks, where the restore flow would be from vSphere to AWS EC2.
I'm asking this because I've tried restoring them a few times, and it only works when the source disk is a basic disk.
Whether the disk type is applied to a single disk or a set of dynamic disks, the restore process doesn't complete successfully in either case. It even starts the transfer process, reporting that some MB have been restored, but then suddenly displays a "...failed to upload disk..." error.
If this isn't the expected way to do this, is there another way Veeam could perform this conversion?

Re: Dynamic Disk Restore to AWS EC2
Hi Rodrigo
I'll ask our RnD Team if we support this scenario.
Thank you,
Fabian
