Hi,
I’ve read in previous forum threads that in v11, it was not possible to write a single backup job (especially one producing a single large VBK file) to multiple LTO drives in parallel within a single tape job.
We are now using Veeam Backup & Replication v12, and I’d like to confirm whether this limitation still applies.
Specifically, if a backup job produces a single VBK file (not per-VM), is there any way to write it to multiple LTO drives simultaneously in v12?
Has there been any change in behavior or supported functionality in this regard?
Thanks.

No, in this specific case, no change.

It would stil be useful to have this option. We have some very large VM (~50 TB) and currently we have to make shure to get this VM processed very early in our 4 day job run otherwise (if its backed up last) the whole job run takes a day more because only one drive is writing in the end.
