Need to Add Feature to View and Manage Nutanix Jobs in Veeam Enterprise Manager Console

Veeam Case #07856735

Veeam Enterprise Manager Console is a centralized web-based management and reporting tool for Veeam Backup & Replication environments. Enabling us to remotely management and monitor Veeam infrastructure. Restore files from backups, generate reports on backup jobs, restore operations, and infrastructure health. I was shocked and surprised to learn that Nutanix is not supported on this platform. I am also surprised that I am being asked to request this as a feature and that Veeam has not closed this gap. That said - here it is, a request to make Nutanix available in Veeam Enterprise Manager Console.

Hi, the reason this functionality is not available in the Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager is because VBEM is going away (at least its job management part) as we're bringing the web UI to the backup server itself. Thanks

@abdul.chanbasha also note that while most of the limitations you enumerate are accurate we do support file-level restore for AHV from Enterprise Manager.

I notice on the new web Ui, Nutanix Jobs are not showed too.

That's correct, the current web UI preview only supports VMware and Hyper-V. It will take some time to move 20 years worth of UI dialogs so we're prioritizing the order of features based on their actual usage.

Interesting, we are going to migrate away from VMware to Nutanix and I am curious as to how we would manage the Veeam backups once we transition on the new hypervisor?

Just as you're managing VMware now, through the thick UI client for Microsoft Windows aka backup console.
