Case: 07874124
Can someone confirm the following behavior since upgrading to V8.2?
We have two VBM365 servers and i created some scripts to gather data for capacity and license reporting. I execute the script on one of the servers and connect to the other server utilizing the "Connect-VBOServer" CMDlet in order to gather data from there.
Since i've upgraded to 8.2 on the server that runs the script, i am unable to connect to the second server via powershell. No matter what i set as "-Server" parameter, it always connects to the localhost instead of the remote server. On the second server, where i am stll on version 8.1, it runs perfectly fine. I always use "Disconnect-VBOServer" prior to connect to any other server, so there should not be any stale connections.

Re: Unable to connect to different VBM365 server via powershell
Hi Florin,
To the best of my knoweledge there were no intentional changes to the behavior between these versions. If support confirms it is a product issue, you'll get a fix.
Thanks!

Re: Unable to connect to different VBM365 server via powershell
Support asked us to upgrade the "old" server to the latest version as well. We weren't able to do that yet because of long-running export jobs.
However, in the meantime we updated the old one as well and Connect-VBOServer now works again. If it is the intention of Veeam to have working cross-connection between minor versions, you may should have a look on this issue

Hi Florin,
Our QA confirmed a bug in the behavior; we'll fix it in the next releases.
Thanks!
