Veeam Backup to Tape (VTL) failed to calculate

Hello community,

since 1 week I got the following error message, during Backup to tape from SMB share to VTL.

Failed to calculate total size for \\10.1.136.241\sicherung Details: Failed to call RPC function 'FcWaitGetSizeAsync': CAsyncSizeCalculator: No operation with handle {210d5db9-68a6-4713-bd89-71c953a5a0cd} found.

I tried several things to resolve it, but unsuccessful.
The job copies several folders from a NAS share to VTL. It has worked for a long time. But now it fails.
I have no idea why.
Hopefully you can help me.

This will require an investigation of the logs, so please open a Support Case and let Veeam Support review the behavior. Please share your case number once created; as noted when posting, technical issues / errors must have a Veeam support case.

Hi David,

I has done a bit troubleshooting and got an error while Tape inventoring. So I erased all tapes and start again with a Full Backup in the evening. Hopefully this was the cause. Tomorrow I give a status update.
