Re: Feature Request: Virtuozzo support
I’d also like to express my interest in Virtuozzo support. We’re currently migrating our VMware environments to Virtuozzo, and native integration would be extremely valuable. I’d prefer not to move to Acronis, which already provides full Virtuozzo support.

Re: Feature Request: Virtuozzo support
Same here! We have a POC of Virtuozzo Hybrid Infrastructure that we will be migrating from VMware + vCloud Director.
We are currently running Veeam EM w/ vCD Plugin for IaaS backups, Cloud Connect and backing up our own internal infrastructure.
Just got off the phone with Cloud Base sales with Corolious, and I wish Veeam was an option for Replication and Failover for our migrations + backups.
Otherwise, we are in the same boat - Acronis or Coriolis.

Re: Feature Request: Virtuozzo support
You are right, as a service provider we work with Scale Computing for small businesses and with Virtuozzo for our 4 datacenters as a cloud provider.Gostev wrote: ↑Oct 28, 2025 5:14 pm "I iz suzpicius of ur intenshuns" (c)
Specifically of the pattern of your posts![]()
Regardless of the solution for our small businesses or Datacenters, we use the Veeam solution as a VCSP.
Veeam now supports Scale Computing, and I hope this message will also help with Virtuozzo support so we can continue our VCSP services. We make significant use of Veeam Cloud Connect for our customers' backup and DR.

As an Aggregator of Virtuozzo, Veeam integration with Virtuozzo has been the most asked request. How will the recently announced Universal Hypervisor Integration API work with the likes of Virtuozzo.

Re: Feature Request: Virtuozzo support
The Universal Hypervisor Integration API (UHAPI) uses an industry standard API and has defined a subset of this API as minimum requirement for Veeam. Some of the hypervisor vendors are already nearly compatible as they use it already and just need to do minor changes, others need to add an additional abstraction layer to translate the commands between this API and their own used ones. We shared the API requirement with the first vendors and are awaiting feedback specifically the application capability for OpenStack where we might need to innovate a bit with the vendors to ensure best processing. It is always a joint development project with the hypervisor vendors and us where we in the end ensure at the release official Veeam support and stability through Veeam QA processing, while the vendor ensures compatibility over time. We have done this model very successful with the storage vendors and hope to achieve as well fast adoption on the hypervisors. It is part of our strategy to
a) Increase Feature Set with the top leading hypervisors where we innovate together with the vendors (including VMware).
b) Adopt new Hypervisors ourself with native Veeam integrations based on market opportunity
c) Innovate with the ecosystem throughout standard APIs like UHAPI.
