As described in the Subject, is this scenario possible/supported?
I mean only hosting of it, not adding KVM-Server Workloads (which will be added in future).
Thanks.

Re: Veeam Server Appliance VSA hosted on KVM possible/supported?
Not on any KVM but it is tested and supported on all hypervisors supported by Veeam for host-based backup.
V13 What's New happens to touch on this in the Licensing section.
@Dima P. do we explain this in the system requirements?

Re: Veeam Server Appliance VSA hosted on KVM possible/supported?
I installed the Veeam B&R Appliance v13 on a Scale Computing* cluster using the ISO installer. Created a VM on Scale with the correct specifications (CPU, RAM, Disk, Network) as per deployment guide and ran the installer. Works totally fine.
Not saying it is officially supported or endorsed by Veeam, but it works perfectly.
* Scale Computing HyperCore is a KVM based bare-metal Hypervisor.

Re: Veeam Server Appliance VSA hosted on KVM possible/supported?
It *is* officially supported because we support Scale for host-based backups, which means we also validate VSA ISO on it (as per my previous post).
