Hello. Just a quick question. We have several customers with veeam backup for 365 as well as veeam b&r and both services send data to wasabi which has been fine. However we would like to offer cloud based restoration options if needed for DR, etc.
How would a vcsp get started with veeam data cloud and vault? Would we use our own azure instance? Is storage pooled amongst all clients? Are there rental options?
I am sure this is all documented somewhere and I will dig around. But the part that is a little confusing to us is if we need our own azure instance.
Thanks very much
Dave

Re: Veeam Data Cloud and vault
Hi Dave,
You can register via the propartner portal and then consume it on a point based model like you would now.
VDC is a multi-tenated platform hosted within Veeam’s own Azure tenant so you won’t have anything to host. Storage would be per customer too.
Any further questions just let us know
