Feature request: CDP scale-out deployment

As per my case #07880125.

Please can Veeam R&D evaluate the hardware requirements for all your CDP components and provide a way to scale out a CDP deployment, including the co-ordinator service.

Hi Kevin, no unfortunately Veeam R&D is not able to provide sizing services. However, this is exactly what our Professional Services team is there for.

From a product perspective, please note that there's actually a built-in calculator in the CDP policy wizard that uses historical I/O data of the protected VMs to verify whether CDP infrastructure resources are sufficient to deliver CDP of selected VMs with desired RPO.

Who tests the software and establishes the hardware requirements for the product? Is that Professional Services?

QA tests the software and establishes the minimum system requirements for the product, as well as recommended maximums.

Professional Services provides sizing services for the particular environment.

Support provides break/fix services if something does not work as expected in the properly deployed environment.

Maybe I misunderstood your request, if so please explain it in different words.

Hi,

There are currently no guidelines around the hardware requirements for the CDP co-ordinator service so I am trying find who establishes these hardware requirements so I can address this with the related department.
I would have thought that RnD would be involved in defining the hardware requirements hence my post of these forums.
