Scale Computing Software Standard Edition Support

Post by makoto.climb »

Scale Computing Software Licensing has Standard and Professional Edition.

The Standard edition does not include manual snapshots and cloning, but can we still use Veeam Plug-in for Scale Computing HyperCore to backup VM?

@makoto.climb I checked with my Scale counterparts and apparently their website is a bit misleading on this topic. They confirmed that agentless backup w/snapshotting will work properly for Standard edition. Automated snapshot scheduling and replication are not supported but all the functionality we need to operate is.
