Feature Request: Option to Disable Yellow Banner in Scheduled Reports Case # 07918501

Post by Free Bird »

We operate as a multi-tenant organisation with Veeam ONE deployed across different regions. These instances monitor our Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) environments, which protect VMware vCloud workloads as well as dedicated customer VBR infrastructures.

We’ve encountered an issue in some sites where, if a connectivity timeout occurs with any monitored VBR server at the time a scheduled report is generated, a yellow warning banner appears at the top of the report. The concern is that this banner displays the name of the affected VBR server—even if that server does not belong to the customer receiving the report.
This behaviour could be considered a security risk, as it potentially exposes VBR server names across multiple customers.

Feature Request:
We would like to see an option to disable this yellow banner in scheduled reports and instead have connectivity issues reported only in the Veeam ONE notification area. This would help maintain customer isolation and prevent unnecessary exposure of infrastructure details.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a current workaround, or can this be considered for a future release?

Thanks

Hello,
This does makes sense on a multi tenant environment, it is a great addition, let me discuss internally. Let's see if we can provide a hotfix.

Thank you!
