Hello,
yes, we plan Application Aware Processing for Proxmox including Exchange.

If you need it "now", then Veeam Agent for Windows is the workaround.

Best regards

Hi Hannes,
is it 12.x or v13 in Q4?

VAW is not my personal favorite when it comes to VMs.

Hello,
not V12.x for sure. A V13 release, yes. Q4 might work, but not guaranteed.

Just looking at this now and it seems as though we will need to have a guest interaction proxy (windows machine) that has connectivity with the VBR and the exchagne VM being backed up, is that correct?

Hello,
this topic is about Application Aware Processing for Proxmox, which is available.

What makes you think so? Did you see any issues and if yes, what are they and is there a support case with more details? In general, I recommend using the port list to check which connections are required from which component to which component.

Best regards
Hannes
