Retention questions

Hi, I have some questions about retention settings in VDC M365.
Can I change the retention after it was initially configured? I think this option is not available since it can also be seen as a security risk when reducing the retention time..
But what about increasing the retention?
Can I see in the GUI (new GUI) what retention settings were configured?
Can I specify separate retention settings for different policies? Or is it on a "per tenant basis"?

Hi,

You can change the retention to increase this, that is fully supported. By default customers have a single backup repository and a single retention, but it is supported to have multiple backup repositories and a retention policy per backup repository. If you raise a Veeam support case they can assist in having these settings enabled for your tenant.

We also ran into this and had to raise a support ticket to enable us the creation of multiple backup repo's in the same region.

I'm a bit surprised this feature is hidden by default; Why not choose the option to open this up for all customers?
