hi,
I have a backup from my notebook to a 500gb USB disk, the backup disk has 50Gb free disk space ...
I can't run the job ... error "no free disk space"
can I shrink the backup archive with 1 full and 2 incremential points manually to 1 full without running the job over gui ... may be by a script?
so I get more free space and I can run the job normally over the gui.
thanks a lot.

Re: Backup archive shrink
Hi Tony,
If you don’t have space for a new incremental backup you’ll need to manually delete the entire backup chain, and start from scratch. My suggestion is to get a bigger disk; 500GB is really low these days.
I recommend using our calculator to estimate backup space. Make sure your backup disk has enough free space for additional 1-2 full backups just in case.
Best,
Fabian
