export-vbojoblog function
Hi,
The current export command exports all text logs, but is doesnt "aggregrate" them in a single tenant folder (like export-vbolog) does. And its missing the results "html" file.
Can both options (the result html is more important for me) be included in a next release?
thanks!

Hi @mjr.epicfail I'm not sure what you mean by it. Are you talking about the export of the logs (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... html?ver=8)?

Re: export-vbojoblog function
Yes,
There are 2 powershell functions available to do kind of the same as the log export wizard.
The original one: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... html?ver=8
And a new one "Export-VboJobLog" , which is hidden, there is no documentation of this one as far as I know. Probably introduced in 8.2
Where the original function "export-vbolog" aggregrates all tenant information & also includes the results.html files, the "Export-VboJobLog" does not. That whats the enhancement request is about.
Hope this helps clear this up. If not you can contact met via DM or chat etc.

Re: export-vbojoblog function
I will request what the difference is. Not sure why there is no documentation about it to be honest.

Re: export-vbojoblog function
Hey @mjr.epicfail
The documentation team will update it with this PS cmdlet. In essence:
Unlike Export-VBOJobLog, Export-VBOLog cmdlet is responsible for exporting logs from different components, not only job-related logs, such as controller, powershell, shell, proxy, vcf, setup, vmc, explorers, restore, and system session logs, including retention, remove, restore, retrieve, repository indexing etc.
Export-VBOJob log should help to collect logs faster when we it is clear that the issue is related to backup process, like resolve or processing issues and we need to troubleshoot only the job logic.
