"Warning Failed to connect to.." plugins that I’m not using

Post by guitom »

Hi guys,

I’m getting warnings about plugins that I’m not using, which surprises me. This is a fresh installation where I’ve only set up my Proxmox servers and my backup repositories, so I’ve never configured AWS or Azure.

VEEAM 13.0.1.180

Code: Select all

Configuration Backup for ********************
30/12/2025 10:00:58 Warning Failed to connect to AWS plug-in: Failed to login to platform service (ID: [*****************************]):
30/12/2025 10:01:03 Warning Failed to connect to Microsoft Azure plug-in: Failed to login to platform service (ID: [**************************]):
Does anyone know how to disable this alert please ?

Thanks a lot in advance. Cheers everyone.

Hi Guillaume,

Have you by any chance disabled the AWS/Azure services?
If they are running and you’re still seeing the warn message, please open a case with our customer support team and share the case number with me.

Hello Fabian,
Thank you for the idea.
Indeed, I had forgotten that it was those that I had stopped and switched to manual. It was an emergency, temporary workaround at a time when the VM was running on a very slow temporary host. I wanted to limit resource usage, so I killed the services whose names I recognized and knew were unnecessary.
So it’s not possible to stop the myriad of unused Veeam services?
I restarted the few services concerned; I’ll see tomorrow whether the message is still there.

thx
