Config-file for VeeamOne
Hi all,
we are in the process to setup a new VeeamOne VM. Therefore we are wondering if there is the possibility to create a kind of config-file at the old Veeamone instance that we can apply on the the new one?
with kind regards
Oliver

Re: Config-file for VeeamOne
Hi Oliver,
There’s no built-in configuration backup or restore option.
You can, however, perform the migration by following the procedure described in this KB: https://www.veeam.com/kb1801
Best regards,
Fabian

HI Fabian,
One ore question does the DB contains the VeeamOne config like the created alarms and added VBR servers and the added Vsphere-center?

Hi Oliver
The MS SQL database contains the entire configuration, alarms and VBR/vSphere connection information as well.
Best,
Fabian

Re: Config-file for VeeamOne
Hi Fabian,
is it possible to purge the current VeeamOne DB. For example delete all entries from the start of the recording until 01.06.2025.

Re: Config-file for VeeamOne
Hi Oliver,
Not directly in the database.
However, you can configure the retention policy and apply it immediately (Help Center) on the old server — for example, set it to 1 month.
