we have attempted to update a minor site with the exe patch, but currently the patch is stuck in installing transport service - is this a known issue?

There are no known issues with this patch still, with 52750 backup servers already reporting as patched.

These smaller update files are greatly appreciated, the full 12GB ISOs were a bit unwieldy! Thanks to the Veeam team!

Also looking at the telemetry we're about 25% ahead in terms of adoption after the first week vs. the previous security update. And since exposure due to the vulnerabilities is completely identical to the previous update, this could only mean the smaller patch size does indeed make the decision to deploy the patch swiftly much easier. So I declare this change a success!

I'm wondering how many people has VBR Server in AD domain... I'm not updating my 80+ customers since the issue is only related to domain-joined VBR Server

Hello Keith,

Microsoft might be blocking the installation. Try right-clicking the ISO file, selecting 'Properties', checking 'Unblock' under the Security section at the bottom of the window, and then rerun the upgrade. Thank you!

So how can I install upgrade "VeeamBackup&Replication_12.3.2.4165_20251014.iso" this file do not have unblock option in properties, and when I run setup.exe from this I have only Modify no Upgrade option?

It depends on the version of VBR/VBEM installed for which you're going to start the upgrade, maybe you're not using the right upgrade package.
