Support for SQL Express 2025

Hello,

will there be Support for SQl Server Express 2025 in Future? I did a successful backup with transaction logs, but sql browser notifies about unsupported server version.
Do i have to downgrade to sql express 2022?

May I ask, what version you have deployed of Veeam Backup & Replication?
SQL Server 2025 is supported with Veeam Backup & Replication v13.

we are running still v12. v13 is planned for our news backupserver.

I suggest to run the update if backup and restore support for SQL Server 2025 is important to you.
We have released Patch 1 for v13.0.1 on January 6th. The patch will be required if you plan to migrate from a backup server running on Windows to the Veeam Software Appliance.
