[V13] Appliance Software Updates Summary Emails

Hello. I'm very much enjoying the new appliances so far and have been busy deploying them in various places. I've noticed that when updates become available for them an email will be sent with a warning status even though automatic updates are enabled and scheduled each week. I would prefer not to receive notice when this happens and only get an email if installing said updates fails during the scheduled time. Is there a way to make that adjustment? I've looked over the settings available in the console with no luck. I did some quick browsing/searching here, but didn't see this asked elsewhere so apologies if I missed it.

Thank you for your feedback! It looks like we’ve actually overachieved our goal — the feature works so well that you don’t even want to hear a ping when an update is available.

We’ll note this as a feature request!

I also ran into this and ended up submitting a ticket to see if I was missing something or if there was an undocumented means of making this work in a better fashion. Ideally the Software Update Summary email notifications could be customized.

Say Veeam releases 20 updates for the calendar year of 2026. 20 Email notifications is great and informative. 345 emails telling you that no updates are available, potentially compounded by various Veeam installs is not necessary.

Please also make sure that the same feature request applies not just for B&R but for VBEM as well. I know V13 is still new but just wanted to provide some feedback to help with the fine tuning.
