Hi all,
trying to deploy a worker for my VM Essentials lab. I receive the following error and don't know what to do with it:
20.01.2026 13:45:14 Failed : Failed to deploy the worker VM: Your Sockets Limit has been reached for the currently applied License. Please check your license and upgrade if necessary. (0:00:05)
I have the Veeam VME beta license applied, which includes 1000 instances (6 instances used) and is 30days valid. No sockets in the license. My VME is licensed with an NFR license and has 6 from 8 sockets in use. Since the worker is just a VM, a socket should not be required in VME.
VM Essentials version: 8.0.12.
Veeam version: 13.0.1.1071 + VME Beta bundle applied.

Re: HPE VME - Worker not deploying - Your Sockets Limit has been reached
Hello,
Could you check your HPE VM Essentials license to see if you have any expired licenses added. This error is coming from the HPE side. Could you also try to deploy a new VM manually and see if you get any errors?

Yes, issue was the expired trial license in my VME. Seems like VME can stack licenses on top of each other and does not remove the trial automatically.
