Support for HPE Morpheus Enterprise

Post by marco.mosca »

Hi all,

Regarding the plug‑in for HPE VME, is support for Morpheus Enterprise planned for the future?

We are conducting tests on an HPE Morpheus Enterprise installation where we have implemented several Tenants, each with its own set of VMs.
We noticed that, with the current version of the plug‑in, Veeam Backup & Replication displays the full list of all VMs without any Tenant‑level segregation.

On the other hand, according to the HPE documentation, it is possible to integrate Veeam within Morpheus Enterprise, but the integration is performed through Enterprise Manager — which is not supported by the current version of the plug‑in for HPE VME.

Best regards,
Marco

Hello Marco,

Version 1 of the integration is based on the features/capabilities native to VM Essentials. Multitenancy is a feature exclusive to Morpheus Enterprise. We plan to support HVM clusters managed by Morpheus Enterprise but we won't support multitenancy in the initial version.
