Veeam B&R 9.5 compatibility

Hy!

I know, the 9.5 is an old version of Veeam. But technically can I backup a Hyper-V cluster with Windows Server 2025 OS? So is it work with 9.5?

May I ask why such an old version is being used?

You can try it, but we’ve never tested this scenario and have no plans to. Fully unsupported of course!
We can’t guarantee backup or restore will work — even if it seems fine, it’s at your own risk.

Regarding v9.5, please consider the many security fixes implemented over time.
You should be using Veeam Backup & Replication v12.3.2 or v13.0.1, which include important security vulnerability fixes.
Earlier versions are no longer recommended for use.
