[V13] Enterprise Manager SAML FQDN
Hi all.
I've been testing the in-place upgrade of EM on Windows as well as the new appliance deployment. We've been using SAML SSO successfully with version 12 and earlier, but had to make sure that the "applicationUrl" key in the "Web.config" file was set to match the FQDN appropriately. However, I noticed that on Windows the format of this file has changed and no longer contains the same lines that it previously did. On the appliance, I haven't found a way to access the file except via the CLI and while updating it that way wouldn't be convenient, it appears to have the same (altered) format.
Is it possible to continue setting that key in the latest version? I've put some links below to older posts related to the setting in case it helps for reference.

Re: [V13] Enterprise Manager SAML FQDN
We have a case open for this very issue. The setting is in the appsettings.json file, but it seems that it isn't used by the Enterprise manager and it keeps trying to go to the base name of the server and giving a certificate error.

We had the same problem, i have created a case and received a private fix for the problem. After applying the private fix it's possible to use "applicationUrl" within the "C:\Program Files\Veeam\Backup and Replication\Enterprise Manager\WebApp\appsettings.json".dhossler wrote: ↑Dec 03, 2025 8:29 pm Hi all.

@Erwin Linker
Thank you for posting here to let myself (and others) know. I'll open a case to get the fix as well.
