Disable Daily Malware Detection Report
With version 12.3, when malware is detected and you have email notification enabled Veeam sends an alert for both "Potential malware activity detected" and a "Daily malware detection report". It's duplicate info and we don't need both. However the notification options in the console are pretty limited with no way to adjust. I see in another thread that there is a registry key to disable the SOBR daily reports, so is there a registry key for these malware reports too or possibly another way to disable just one leaving the other enabled?

Re: Disable Daily Malware Detection Report
Hi, Ben.
There is no specific registry key available to disable the malware alerts notifications. The notification settings are indeed quite limited in this regard.
The purpose of the immediate malware notification is to ensure that you are alerted as soon as possible when malware is detected, since every minute can be critical in reacting to a potential threat. This real-time alert is intended to help you take immediate action, while the daily report serves as a delayed summary of the day.
Noted the improvement request regardless - thanks for feedback!
