Hello everybody,
I'm looking for a clarification when you restore individual files from a backuped ReFS file system.
Is Veeam always in need to restore the full ReFS filesystem (temporary) in order to restore a single file?
Or maybe I'm wrong, thanks for the help and advice!

Re: ReFS file level restore
Hi David,
Welcome to the forum.
No, we don’t have to restore the full file system temporarily during Guest OS File Level Restore. The restore point containing your backup will be mounted by the Mount Server. It won’t consume any disk space, besides some log files of course.
From the mount point (the C:\VeeamFLR folder), the restore explorer will only restore the files and folders you selected.
The entire workflow is documented in our Help Center.
Best,
Fabian
