Good Day
We just onbaorded to VDC.
Our initial SPO/Teams Backup Job is running and i know it can take serveral days/weeks to complete. At the moment the job is backing up only one Teams for several hours. It would be nice to have more information about the current backup speed as it is displayed in the classical Veeam M365 backup. To get a better understanding what is going on...
Thanks
Best Regards

Re: Feature Requests: M365 Backup speed
Hi Andre,
I don’t think the “current backup speed” metric would be very helpful for understanding what’s really happening when a job appears to be stuck on a single object. If the status remains unchanged for several hours, I recommend opening a support case, as the logs will provide more detailed insight into what’s going on.
Most likely, the API calls are being throttled by Microsoft 365.
Best,
Fabian

Re: Feature Requests: M365 Backup speed
Hi Fabian
Thanks for your reply. i get your point. I asked for that so that we at least can see if still data is transfered or if it is just stuck somewhere else. Just like the Performance Data we have in the "classic" Veeam M365 Backup software. I understand that VDC is a Cloud Service but a little bit more information would be usefull.
Thanks
André
