I'm trying to do trend analysis of how many protected items we've been seeing. Ideally this should be a straightforward time series chart that can be generated over a selected span, say "past 30 days" and so on. Can't figure it out - the Workload Protection History job seems like it would be the thing, but it wants to generate a whole report for each workload and I'm just looking for a total count.
The reason for this is seeing how our license usage has been trending over time. It's a damn shame Veeam went with per-instance licensing as it's made metric f-tons of work for Veeam customers, and making it hard to track license usage is costing us even more money. Thanks a lot.
Veeam One V12, by the way.

Hello Mike,
Workload Protection History, even in v12, should have this data. From here you can perhaps save the report you need, and export to CSV/Excel so you have it.
If you want it a bit more clean, in v12 you can use Report Builder load the saved WPH report and take only this summary section.

Let me know

That did it. Took me a minute to figure out how to use Report Builder (after taking a minute figuring out where to find it) but I have the data.
It would be nice to add some built-in licensing reports for tracking, auditing, and prediction.

Thanks Mike,
I hope we can show Report Builder as a main feature in the menu sometime.
Glad that worked
