Hello,
Attempting to add the connection to my VM Essentials Manager and it fails on "Configuring additional settings for the HPE Morpheus VM Essentials clusters".
2/18/2026 2:29:12 PM Failed : Failed to configure additional settings for the HPE Morpheus VM Essentials clusters: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. (0:02:34)
Veeam version 13.0.1.180 running on Windows.
Any advice on where I could start troubleshooting?

Re: HPE VME Configure Additional Settings fails
Hello. It looks like connectivity issues between VBR and one of the cluster nodes.
Could you please check the following log file for any relevant error messages and provide the error stack?
If you could enable Debug logging it would be even more helpful:
Cody will contact you regarding the process of sharing debug logs.
Could you please check the following log file for any relevant error messages and provide the error stack?
Code: Select all
C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\Plugins\HPEMORPHEUSVME\Veeam.HPEMORPHEUSVME.PlatformSvc.logCode: Select all
1) Open the appsettings.json file as administrator.
Location:
C:\Program Files\Veeam\Plugins\HPE Morpheus VM Essentials\Service
2) In the Logging section, set the log level to Debug.
3) Restart the VeeamHpeMorpheusVmeSvc service.
4) Reproduce the issue and collect the log file.
5) Afterwards, you may set the log level back to Info and restart the service again.-
