Right now i have a environment im looking which has VBR and VeeamONE v12. Id like to upgrade to 13. Both products use an external SQL server which hosts both databases.
I can see the VeeamBackup and VeeamONE database on that server but ai also see another database called VeeamBackupReporting. I am not sure what this is or if it is legacy. This setup did have Enterprise Manager at one time but that is since been removed/powered down. Perhaps its part of that?
I am not sure how to tell if it is in use or not or if it is needed.
Right now SQL is 2014 and i want to do an in place upgrade to 2019 so we can upgrade VeeamONE and then VBR to v13 (VeeamONE v13 doesnt support sql 2014). The SQL 2019 upgrade removes SQL Reporting services from the server entirely....so my thinking is that this VeeamBackupReporting db will be affected. I just need to make sure its old and not being used before i proceed with the upgrade.
Does anyone know how to tell or have any insight? This server was setup many many years ago (not by me) so i dont have the full history on it.
