Query tape jobs through Rest API

I'm not sure if I'm just missing it on my reading through but how do you query tape jobs on the REST API? Getting all the jobs doesn't seem to include tape jobs.

Please see the note in the API reference guide for Jobs endpoints. At the current moment, we don't have endpoints for Tape operations, but naturally it's planned for future releases.

We're working quickly towards feature parity between the UI and REST API endpoints, but for the time being check the top-level of each section to understand the current options for each set of endpoints.

I’m using Veeam Backup & Replication v13 and I would like to know if it is now possible to query the status of Tape jobs and SureBackup jobs through the REST API.

I found older forum posts (from 2019 and 2023) saying these job types were not exposed in the API at the time. Since Veeam has evolved significantly since then, I would like to confirm whether this is still the case in v13, and if support for these job types is planned in a future version.

For Tape, see my answer above, and for SureBackup, you can currently see and manage the results of SureBackup jobs that perform Backup Verification and Content Scan, not for full recoverability testing in current version.

Thank you for your quick reply. So in my case I can’t see either the Tape jobs or the SureBackup jobs. Since you mentioned that support is planned, do you have any idea about the expected timeline or release when this might become available?

Just for avoidance of confusion, SureBackup sessions for jobs that run Backup Verification and Content scan are viewable, but not full recovery testing at this time.

For both Tape and SureBackup full recoverability testing, nothing to share at this time. You can check the Changelog on releases to get a full list of new / changed endpoints.
