Hello all,
Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager has multiple clusters.
Currently, a backup appliance exists in Cluster A.
I want to move this backup appliance to Cluster B.
What is the optimal method?
Is it acceptable to migrate from Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager web console?
Thanks,
Yuya

Re: want to move the backup appliance on OLVM to another cluster
If you're referring to the worker, it's easier to just delete from vbr and deploy a new one.

It is a backup appliance, not a worker.
We are using Veeam 12.

Re: want to move the backup appliance on OLVM to another cluster
The correct procedure would be to:
1> take a configuration backup (RHV/OLVM instructions https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/vb ... ackup.html) make sure to enable encryption so the appliance is backed up. You should be able to right click the appliance and click restore configuration if it worked properly and see the restore point.
2> delete the old appliance
3> deploy the new appliance
4> Right click the appliance and restore the configuration.
