How does cost estimation work?

Hi,

I would like to know the logic used when calculating the costs when configuring a policy. To my knowledge, the snapshot size cant be retrieved from ARM REST API.
Are there any assumption in play?

Hi Bastiaan,

On the cost estimation step, there is a link "assumptions" (Cost is calculated based on assumptions and can be used only as an approximation.) which clarfies the logic of the calculator.

You can also click per row (for example snapshot) to see how total price is calculated.
