Hello,
I have to build a new VBR infrastructure on Nutanix prism central and I would like to know if there are some limitations on Linux components compared to Windows .
The idea is to use the V13 appliance ISO + Linux proxy with the ISO too.
As limitation, I mean backup or restore data from ReFS file system or with windows deduplication enabled or for Windows file level restore or AD granular restore, ...
The Tape server will remains on Windows because of missing knowledge on linux and repository will be on Object first appliance + LHR (with ISO too).
Thanks for your answer.

Re: Linux components limitations
Hi Matteu,
As this question is valid for all our workloads, I’ve moved your topic to the main product forum.
A Windows-based mount server is required for a few restore options. We’ve listed the restore options that require a Windows-based mount server in ourHelp Center.
Technically it's possible to assign the Mount Server role to your existing Windows based Tape Server. Just make sure, that the Windows version is the same or higher as protected machines with ReFS filesystems. Or the backed up ReFS filesystem cannot be mounted during Restore.
Best,
Fabian
