Feature Request: Veeam v13 Console High Resolution Support

I've found with Veeam v13 the Console, if you "maximize" it on a Monitor with a Resolution of 2560 x 1440 (Recommended for my monitor) the console will maximize past the boundaries of the screen. This is highly annoying and surprising since no other application consoles have this problem.

Can the Veeam v13 console application be updated to support high resolution scaling so it maximizes to the appropriate boundaries of the screen?

Scale is set to 100% (Recommended by my monitor). For admins that run several consoles on multiple monitors this is pretty frustrating.

I need to double check how it looks in my lab, but I don’t remember seeing any issues with high-resolution screens. But I will verify again.
Can the Veeam v13 console application be updated to support high resolution scaling so it maximizes to the appropriate boundaries of the screen?
Regarding updates to the Windows-based backup console: Our current focus is on the Web UI so it becomes feature-complete as soon as possible. It’s more likely we’ll ensure our new Web UI works 100% across the common screen resolutions on the market instead of adding new features to the Windows backup console.

That said, if the “strange resolution behavior” you’re seeing is confirmed as a bug, we can consider to address it in the Windows based console — but you’ll need to open a case with Customer Support to have it confirmed.

Hi Fabian,

Thanks for the reply. I did open a case with Customer Support and thought it was a bug. They weren't very helpful and just told me to post in these forums. (As a customer with a Support Contract I found this a bit frustrating) It's pretty clear this is likely a bug since I don't understand why the Veeam Windows console has this issue and no other application consoles I run.

It's good to know the Web UI is working to be feature-complete. I'd hope the established Windows console wouldn't be ignored or deprioritized when it's still the most feature-complete administrative tool.

Hopefully this issue can get resolved. It's pretty annoying.
