[Feature Request] Add DNS suffix setting to Infrastructure Appliance setup
We are in the process of migrating our Windows proxies to the infrastructure appliance. When going through the setup, you have normal network configuration items through the TUI (DHCP vs Static, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, etc.) but not a way to set the default DNS suffix. This can be done *after* the appliance is built either through the advanced network configuration section in the TUI or through the web GUI. When deploying a lot of these, it's a fair amount of extra work.
Having this just be another setting in the normal wizard workflow during initial setup would be nice.

Re: [Feature Request] Add DNS suffix setting to Infrastructure Appliance setup
Hello,
Let me check internally. I tested this in my lab and will discuss the behavior internally. I will update once I have more information to share.

Re: [Feature Request] Add DNS suffix setting to Infrastructure Appliance setup
When you do the initial setup via the TUI, there is the Advanced option to set a suffix but to me, it does not apply - once you get on the Web UI you should see this, but it does not carry forward, and you need to enter it again. It will be nice if this is addressed.

Re: [Feature Request] Add DNS suffix setting to Infrastructure Appliance setup
Hello,
Appreciate your patience while I checked on this. Regrettably, we have some architectural limitations; we use our own configuration file under /etc/NetworkManager and update it differently.
While it is possible to change the search domain (domain suffix) in Advanced Settings menu during initial wizard we'd ask you to continue using the WebUI for configuration.
