Prism Central 7.3.1.2, 7.5.0.0 Advisory

Please note that Nutanix introduced a bug in a critical API endpoint in these Prism Central versions. Subsequent releases are fully Veeam-compatible.

Hi,

Does it means that you can use Prism Central 7.3.1.2 or 7.5.0 with Veeam13?

thanks

OK I've check the veeam doc and it sais this for Veeam 13:

  • Nutanix-certified hardware and Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) running Nutanix AOS versions 6.8.1.6 and above

Prism Central version pc.2022.6–pc.2024.3.1.10, pc.7.3 and above except 7.3.1.2 and 7.5.0.0
Does it mean I can't deploy PC 7.5.0.1 or above with Veeam13 ???

If you check the following thread it sais that 7.5.0.1 is supported (which is actualy not working fine with veeam 13 on other deployments that I've done)

This is very confusing.... Also I have to deploy a new nutanix cluster with NKP for a customer and he is asking me about which Veeam version should he use (he now uses Veeam 12).

@dmartinez PC 7.5.0.1 is supported. I'm not aware of any issues with that version. Only the specified exceptions are unsupported due a broken Nutanix API. NKP is generally a Veeam Kasten proposition for native K8S protection
