unable to fetch the all the agent backups using "veeamconfig backup list [--all]"

Post by Suryanarayanan »

Hi Team,

We are trying to perform file level restore using commad line from server1 to server2.

ref: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... tml?ver=13

From server2, we have run "veeamconfig backup list [--all]" but it locates server2 backups alone. it is not fetching server1 backups. Both the servers are in the same protection group.

How to list out all the agent backups?

Surya

Hey Surya!

What you have done should list all backups from all Veeam Agent Backups on the repository server2 is communicating with. So this leads me to wonder if the Server1 and Server2 are configured to go to the same repository. Just because they're in the same Protection Group doesn't mean they're configured to go to the same repository. If they are in the same repository, the only thing I can think of is a permissions scenario. It might warrant a support case if both servers are sent to the same repository.

Hi Brad,

it is going to same repo. Case # 08012293 is raised.

Tired below 3 points but it is only showing server2 backups

1.On Server2 (the target) and run 'veeam' and press 'R' (restore), and then press 'I' (Import) and select your VBR server then you'll see all available backups.

2. If this does not work, check the permissions on your VBR server, and you can try, temporarily, to set "allow access".

3. Lastly, please make sure that the user you are using to authenticate against Veeam Backup and Replication is a Backup administrator.

Regards,
Surya
