Backup Log Generation for HyperV VM's
I ran into the issue of trying to generate logs for a certain "Hyper-V" backup job the other day and found that the list did not display any of our HyperV backups jobs. I placed a support call (Case #08017366 — Cannot generate support logs for Backup Jobs and was told that this is "By Design" for Hyper-V jobs. In order to gather logs for a Hyper-V backup we have to export all logs for the Veeam manager. We are moving from VMware to Hyper_V and with VMware jobs we do not have this issue. So I was told by Veeam Support to go to forms and put a Feature Request in.

Re: Backup Log Generation for HyperV VM's
Hi Rick.
To clarify, this limitation is not specifically with Hyper-V, but rather with Nutanix jobs on top of it. Currently, job-specific log generation for Nutanix jobs is not available - these job types are not yet covered by the targeted log export feature. You do need to export all logs from the Veeam Backup & Replication server to gather relevant information for these jobs.
Improving log management for Nutanix is already tracked as a request and will be addressed in future versions. Added your +1 there, to help prioritize it better.
