We would like to confirm whether backups of ESXi 7.0 hosts can be successfully performed when registering a vCenter Server that manages a mixed environment of ESXi 7.0 and ESXi 6.5 with Veeam Backup & Replication v13.
I understand ESXi 6.5 is not supported with VBR V13 but ESXi 7.0 is still supported.

I doubt anyone tested that scenario, and this post says that it does not work with ESXi 6 (does not explicitly mention 6.5). In worst case, V12 is the alternative.
