Feature request - Multiple selection and modification of settings for backup infrastructure components
It would be useful if you could select multiple components in the backup component overview (proxies, repos, etc.) and change certain settings for all of them at once. Especially in environments with many proxies, you have to click through each proxy individually. For example, if you want to activate “NBDSSL” or change the transport mode.

Hi Peter,
Understood on the request, but can you share a bit more on how often you're changing these and what options are getting changes most commonly?
Similarly, you can accomplish this with both PowerShell and REST API if it's a frequent task you need to handle, so while request will be discussed, for now please consider PowerShell / REST API for this task.

Re: Feature request - Multiple selection and modification of settings for backup infrastructure components
Hi David,
Of course, this isn’t something you do every day for each installation, but as a systems engineer working on customer projects, you often need to do this.
To do it properly, all settings that can be applied to multiple repositories at once should be implemented. For example:
- mount server --> basically when a new mount server is needed (new refs with Server 2025, etc.)
- transport mode
- max. tasks
- activate “NBDSSL”
- immutability period
Powershell can certainly be used, but selecting options in the console and clicking would be easier for most customers without having to apply filters

Understood -- our focus will be on the WebUI for features and improvements moving forward as we plan to move entirely to the WebUI, so will discuss the idea of bulk-edits in the WebUI.
