With the new Veeam appliances (VSA/VIA), it is no longer possible to browse the file system via Veeam Files Explorer.
This means that it is no longer possible to see what is in the file system. Funnily enough, support also asks for this information.
It would be good to have the option to browse the paths again using the Veeam Files Browser and also to be able to upload and download files.
Especially when it comes to accessing logs that are needed frequently (Threat Hunter), it is not acceptable that I have to create a complete log bundle every time.

Hello,
yes, the plan is to bring that functionality back with a registry key / configuration option. It was discussed for a service provider use case, but you might not have access to that post
Best regards
Hannes
