How to Specify a Private IP Address for the VB4AWS Appliance

We plan to deploy the VB4AWS appliance using only a private IP address.
I checked the documentation, but it appears that private IP addresses cannot be specified during deployment.

Is there a way to specify a specific private IP address?
Will we need to change the private IP address after deployment

Hi,

You are correct that we can only deploy with a new private IP address. If you want to change it, this should be possible. You will have to disconnect the appliance from VBR, change the IP and then re-add it. Can you clarify why you want to change it? As the next step is to specify in which network layer it will run.

As part of the customer's requirements, you must specify a specific IP address in the deployment subnet.
For this reason, we would like to establish a procedure for changing the private IP address after deploying the VB4AWS appliance in a private environment.
