Feature Request: Dynamic VM Selection for Proxmox VE

Hello Veeam Team,
I would like to request an enhancement for the Proxmox VE integration.

At the moment, Proxmox backup jobs require manually adding each VM unless the entire host or storage container is selected. In environments where VMs are distributed across different nodes and storages, this is not practical.

Requested Features
1. Support for dynamic VM selection in Proxmox jobs, similar to VMware and Hyper-V:
• include VMs based on name prefix, pattern, or metadata
• exclude VMs by pattern
• future support for tags or labels

2. A public REST API for managing Proxmox VE backup jobs (e.g., add/remove VM objects programmatically).

3. Documentation of the Proxmox VM object structure used in job includes/excludes.

These features would significantly simplify automation and reduce manual effort.

Could you please confirm whether such functionality is planned for future releases?

Thank you for the suggestion.
For dynamic VM selection with Proxmox jobs, the request is noted, but no further information to share at this time.

For the REST API part, not possible currently, but that is a known request and are working towards it with each release.
