Windows 12 Veeam B&R to Windows 13 Veeam B&R

I'm trying to upgrade Windows 12 Veeam B&R to Windows 13 Veeam B&R.

I downloaded:
VeeamDataPlatformPremium_v13.0_20260310.iso

When I extract and run setup.exe:
It says Veeam Data Platform Premium Edition - Upgrade.

I click upgrade:
Veeam Data Platform 13 - Premium Edition is greyed out.

How do I update Veeam 12 B&R?!

VeeamBackup&Replication_13.0.1.2067_20260310.iso

Damn the downloads section is quite a mess.

Okay, even when looking for Backup and Replication, don't be fooled!

You want VeeamBackup&Replication_13.0.1.2067_20260310.iso
Not that Data Protection Platform nonsense.

Hi

Veeam Data Platform consist of three products and they're included in different license tiers. The next tier includes the product in the tier before so Premium for example includes all three products.

• Veeam Backup & Replication (Foundation)
• Veeam ONE (Advanced)
• Veeam Recovery Orchestrator (Premium)

When you download Veeam Data Platform, all three products are included. If you only want to download the B&R software for example, select that individual download on the download page at https://my.veeam.com/

Were you able to upgrade from 12.? to 13.0 with out issue?

If so what steps did you use after you got the correct download of 13.0?

Hi,
Please have a look at the user guide https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbr/u ... tml?ver=13, it provides step-by-step guide for upgrading plus an 'upgrade checklist' which you should read before starting the upgrade. There's a lot of good information about things that can halt the upgrade so checking this first increases your chances of having a better upgrade experience.

If you've only installed and used Veeam Backup & Replication, download the ISO with the same name and not the Veeam Data Platform.
