OpenStack Backup Support

Post by ishmte »

I would like to inquire whether there are any current plans on the roadmap for Veeam Backup & Replication to support backup and recovery for OpenStack environments.
As OpenStack continues to be widely adopted for Public cloud deployments, having native integration or support from Veeam would significantly enhance data protection capabilities for service providers and enterprises operating within these environments.
Specifically, it would be valuable to understand:
1)Whether OpenStack backup support is currently being developed or considered
2)A potential timeline, if this feature is on the roadmap
This functionality would greatly benefit organizations leveraging OpenStack who are looking to standardize on Veeam for their backup strategy.
I look forward to your feedback.

Can you please share what vendor OpenStack solution is used?
What storage backend?
This would help us with the research. Thanks
