Feature Request - Select Transport mode during restore

In our environment, we use Network (NBD) Transport Mode for VMware backups because we previously encountered issues with certain applications when performing backups via HotAdd. While NBD works reliably for incremental backups, it becomes significantly slower when we need to restore large virtual machines, especially compared to the performance of HotAdd.
Because we operate with only one proxy per site, we currently need to manually change the proxy’s transport mode whenever a faster restore is required. This adds operational overhead and increases restore times.

Request:
Would it be possible to introduce an option within VMware VM recovery workflows to manually select the desired transport mode for a specific restore job? This flexibility would allow us to optimize restore speed without modifying global proxy settings.
