Hello everyone.
We're backing up a 16 vDisk VM with a 16 concurrent task worker on the same Proxmox node. We're seeing that it's procesing disks sequentially. Is this expected behaviour?
Environment:
Veeam backup and Replication v13.0.1.1071
Proxmox VE 9.1.6
Veeam Plugin for Proxmox 13.3.0.237
Virtual Machine has qcow2 disks on LVM Datastore.
Physical Linux repo with no concurrent tasks limit.
Backup job with single VM (16 disk), no other jobs running at all.
Worker backing up using hot-add mode, one disk at a time.
Documentation is not clear regarding this. While best practices guide mentions "Please consider that for Veeam Backup for Proxmox VE, a concurrent tasks is a concurrent VM being processed, regardless the number of virtual disks" that does not exactly mean that it will process disks sequentially, which it does.
I'm assuming this is VE related but
Is there some way to enable parallel disk processing?
Thanks
